Class tours available

Schools are invited to bring their classes to view the Quilt of Belonging on Thursday, May 15th between 12pm & 4pm.

This collaborative textile art piece spans 120 feet and is a collection of 263 blocks, each made by an Indigenous person or immigrant to Canada.

The Quilt of Belonging recognizes Canada’s diversity and celebrates our common humanity while promoting harmony and compassion among people. Completed at the turn of the millennium, it was discovered that Canada has an immigrant from every country in the world and how we are all here by the grace of the indigenous people that underlie our experience in this country. Truly this is a place for all.
