WEFTFest ’26 Call for Entry

All Call for Entries are now open for WEFTFest 2026, April 11 & 12. Join us as we show off community fibre art projects. The weekend will be the Grand River Quilt Project’s Tour Launch and The Quilt of Belonging will be on display.

Thanks to the Hampton Inn & Suites this is a free event for all participating artists, guilds, community quilts & projects and displays.

Fibre artists can submit to the High Tea Auction. (60/40 split, you set reserved price. Proceeds go to the Quilt of Belonging).

Don’t miss this great opportunity to garner interest in your project while spending a fun weekend hanging out with the region’s creative fibre arts community. Answer the Call for Entry to take part in this celebration of community art. Click the Icons to go to the forms.

The Quilt of Belonging is a treasure. If you would like to be a Quilt ambassador and/or help with the hanging and take down, please volunteer.

Ambassadors are asked to monitor the Quilt of Belonging while the event is open to the public. You will be given all the information required to help people while they are viewing the Quilt. The shifts will be 2 hours long.

We need abled bodied volunteers to help hang and take down the Quilt of Belonging. It takes 3 – 4 hours and will be done on Friday April 10 starting at 10am and Monday April 13 at 10 am.
