WEFTFest has been saved! Thanks to the wonderful support of the Hampton Inn & Suites and the Grand River Quilt Project, WEFTFest 2026 is on! April 11 & 12 2026 in the Berlin Room of the Hampton Inn & Suites at 55 Benjamin Rd, Waterloo. Free entry both days.
Featuring the Grand River Quilt Project put together by the Canadian Centre for Rural Creativity, the weekend will be launching the Grand River Quilt on its tour.
WEFTFest 2026; Community Quilt Edition will also showcase many other community quilts including the Quilt of Belonging. Stay tuned for more information.

We are sad to announce that WEFTFest 2026 will not take place.
Unfortunately we have been unable to secure the funding required to put on the quality of show you have all come to expect.
Disappointed by this we will continue in our efforts to raise funds with the hope that we can produce this festival in 2027.
If you would like to support us in these efforts, contributions can be made to the Three Sisters Cultural Centre which is our not for profit mandated to support local artists in their professional endeavours.
